'Running' Wins Best International Music Video at Indiewood Film Festival

Running, directed by Marcelle Abela and co-produced with Michael A. Levine, has won Best International Music Video at the 2026 Indiewood Film Festival in Hollywood. The music film features Grammy award-winning singer Roberta Flack in her final full recording sung in a wheelchair and was screened at the historic TCL Chinese Theaters as part of Indiewood's official selections program. Written and scored by Michael A. Levine, and directed and produced with Marcelle Abela, Running combines music, movement, and visual storytelling in a meditation on endurance, struggle, and persistence in the face of life's obstacles. The Indiewood award adds another distinction to the film’s growing international festival record and marks its first major category win.
