Girona's 36th Film Festival Presents Spanish Premiere of Marcelle Abela's 'America's Woman'

The prestigious 36th Festival de Cinema de Girona has unveiled its official 2024 line-up of films, which includes the Spanish premiere of the feature documentary America's Woman - A Journey Into the Heart of America's Past and Future. Called "a work of great interest due to all the values it conveys" by the festival's director, Lluis Valenti, this the 14th Official Selection of the film throughout the United States, Canada, India, Italy, Spain, and Bolivia. Written and directed by Marcelle Abela, co-produced with Charles Thompson, and narrated by the award-winning Chepi Anthony Miller and Warren Wilcock, America's Woman can also be watched in Spain and Malta only throughout the festival's duration up to November 9th on Girona's Emergent streaming platform. The film, which has already won multiple awards, is located in the Documentary section of the festival and the streaming platform can be accessed by signing up here.
