Documentary Feature 'America's Woman' Wins Bronze at the Global Music Awards

The feature documentary America's Woman - A Journey Into the Heart of America's Past and Future, directed by Marcelle Abela and co-produced with Charles Thompson, has been awarded the Bronze Medal for Original Score/Soundtrack at the 2024 Global Music Awards in California. The sixth award for this Avinu Films picture hailed worldwide as a shockingly powerful, heart-rending, and unique film about the United States and George Washington's vision for the nation, America's Woman boasts an original score with classical, folk, and native elements composed by the director herself and David Ternyik. The motion picture soundtrack of the film can be heard on the usual music streaming platforms. 

The Global Music Awards are well-known as a top-tier international music competition that honors talented composers around the world. It is a showcase for music gems and unique voices, with the GMA being the music industry's golden seal of approval for gifted musicians and composers. At present, America's Woman is going through the festival circuit. Its Asian premiere is going to be held on Saturday, September 28, in Karnataka, India, as part of the "Visionary Filmmaking" line-up of the 2024 Mei International Film Festival.
